ONKOSEV association is a civil society organisation based in Muş, Türkiye, dedicated to supporting young people and strengthening community awareness around health, social responsibility, and solidarity. The association works at the intersection of youth development and health advocacy, promoting inclusive participation, personal growth, and preventive awareness, particularly regarding cancer and other health risks.

The four main objectives of the association are:
  • To enhance respect, friendship, and tolerance among young people and to support their development as conscious and responsible individuals.
  • To nurture and strengthen young people’s talents through educational and training activities.
  • To facilitate young people’s active participation and successful integration into both professional and civic life.
  • To protect young people from health threats and to raise awareness, with particular emphasis on cancer prevention and early detection.

In line with these objectives, the association organises various awareness-raising activities focused on cancer prevention and health education. One of its most significant international initiatives, the “Blooming Plant” Oncology Days, was first held in Muş in 2007, marking an important milestone in promoting cancer awareness and protection for children and young people at both local and international levels.
